Currently, we are searching for an Assistant Controller to join our Collegeville, PA facility.

About the Opportunity:

-Prepare Labor and Overhead Rates and provide explanation of absorption variances monthly.
-Analyze closed job cost versus planned cost.
-Explain changes in inventory.
-Post journal entries and maintains the Watertown, CT general ledger.
-Provide analysis of certain balance sheet accounts.
-Prepare weekly Watertown cash forecast worksheet.
-Maintain audit records for corporate auditors regarding the Watertown, CT facility.
-SOX compliance testing at the Watertown, CT facility.
-Cycle count testing/reporting at the Watertown, CT facility.
-Measures and reports Cost Reductions.
-Prepare quarterly slow moving reserve analysis.
-Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
 

-5+ years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Demonstrated knowledge of developing labor and overhead rates, absorption, and efficiency and utilization variances.
-Must have a full understanding of business processes i.e. taking an order to shipment, placing a PO to payment, etc.
