Real estate investment firm in business for over 20 years is looking for an Assistant Controller. We own and operate Commercial, Retail, and Residential properties nationwide valued at over 2 billion plus dollars.

Qualified candidates will have at least 7-10 years experience in accounting with 3-4 years of public accounting. In depth technical skills in financial reporting, foreign currency and consolidation accounting are strongly preferred along with experience in real estate based accounting. BS degree in accounting or finance along with a CPA is required.

Responsibilities include:

· Hiring and developing staff to their fullest potential

· Direct and motivate the department

· Quarterly financial reporting

· Managing Investment Partnerships

· Annual audits

· Capital distributions

· Consolidations

· Calculations

· Monitoring REIT requirements

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401k with matching. Salary ranges in the 110k -130k plus great bonus potential.
