Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Assist manager with training new personnel in cash handling procedures.
2. Ability to handle multiple priorities, analyze transactions, research, resolve inquiries from co-workers, and customers.
3. Ability to reconcile daily branch activity to assure accurate recording of branch activity, including: wires, preparation of cash letter, check encoding processes, permanent record retention and teller activity.
4. Ability to provide timely and accurate response to customers request for Internet Banking Connectivity, and other consumer Internet Banking Products.
5. Assure the outgoing and incoming wires are processed timely and accurately using the Fedline Advantage software and Suntrust Banking Software programs.
6. Assist manager with training associates on regulatory and procedural changes. Provide input when necessary to manager and Senior Management to ensure the security of assets, associates and customers.
7. Provide internet access to clients and accurately establish communication set-up between host system and home banking software.
8. Interact professionally with all levels of customers and associates.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
This position requires a high school degree and two to five years of banking experience. In addition, the incumbent should possess the following:
• Proficiency in on-line teller systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of selling and servicing retail bank products
• Demonstrated knowledge of administering and servicing Internet Banking Products
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety and security procedures for a cash handling branch.
• Proficiency in understanding and administering the banking rules and regulations for all products supported by the Operations Department
• Must be detail oriented – with strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
