The Assistant Branch Manager II is primarily responsible for assisting the Branch Sales Manager in overseeing the sales and operational functions of a Level IV Branch having the highest levels of revenue, sales, and/or transactions; performs a variety of duties to retain and expand customer relationships; ensures quality customer services are provided; consistently meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.
Qualifications Thorough knowledge of financial products and services Working knowledge and understanding of sales techniques and practices Basic supervisory and sales/team management skills Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills, sales and customer relations skills Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in order to reconcile accounts Working knowledge of PC This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate's degree in a business-related field and 1-2 years supervisory experience in a financial institution or equivalent experience of 4-5 years. Preferences: Supervisory Training (EEO, Affirmative Action, Performance Counseling and Sales Training) Prior consumer banking/customer service/teller experience Sales aptitude/self-motivated/goal oriented 2 years experience in retail sales
