ARTISTIC CONSULTANT - Texas

 

Position Summary:

Develop, manage and provide the technical training in a designated area of several franchise brand markets to include salon opening training, Design Team classes, Design Team member development and required technical classes as determined by the needs of the franchise or franchisees in each market.

 

Responsibilities:

·     Manage and conduct salon opening trainings in your area or as assigned by Program Manager

·     Follow procedures on salon opening checklist to set up and facilitate training

·     Customize training if necessary to meet franchisee needs

·     Train salon opening specialists in specific franchise markets

·     Manage and conduct Design Team programs in your area or as assigned by Program Manager

·     Recruit, interview and manage ongoing development of participants in your area

·     Conduct trainings for your markets on a bi-annual or quarterly basis as designated by market requirements

·     Determine and recommend market needs based on analysis, Service Team participation, observation of salon personnel and discussions with franchisees

·     Conduct technical, product knowledge and presentation skills training classes for Design Team members

·     Substitute technical training classes on a market basis in place of Design Team training if market does not support a Design Team member

 

Requirements:

·     Advanced education in cosmetology to include technical training, instructional methods, or equivalent work experience; education in computer applications and business support classes necessary

·     Minimum 3 years professional cosmetology experience; advanced training in haircutting, styling, color and perm theory

·     Instructional experience for licensed cosmetologists

·     PC skills in Microsoft Word and Lotus Notes

·     Must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

·     Ability to travel approximately 50-75%; overnight travel is required
