[Primary Function]

Proactively manages and facilitates the salaried staffing and recruitment process for Wayne Farms LLC¡¦s North Alabama region. Position is responsible for implementing and executing the staffing function for multiple sites.

[Responsibilities and Tasks]

Responsible for managing the staffing efforts for the North Alabama region.
* Counsels with managers in developing position descriptions/requisitions.
* Works with Compensation to assure appropriate salary levels are assigned and approved.
* Counsels and coaches hiring management on interviewing and selection processes.
* Develops and executes recruiting plans.
* Develop and implement community based recruiting efforts and through a proper employment brand.
* Sources candidates using multiple sourcing techniques including direct sourcing, website postings and employee referral programs.
* Manages all applicant management from requisition through hire using an automated applicant management system.
* Oversees the coordination and facilitation of the interview process.
* Assures coordination of candidate availability, interview schedules, and candidate travel arrangements.
* Assures appropriate resources are provided for interview teams; i.e. interview guides, itineraries etc.
* Facilitates hiring decisions.
* Develops, negotiates and presents offer recommendations.
* Assures appropriate pre-employment activities are communicated and completed.
Develops recruitment strategies and plans designed to achieve required staffing levels.
* Works to identify implement and maintain effectiveness of staffing best practices.
* Provides leadership in sharing best practices and recruiting strategies that are designed to attract and retain top talent to Wayne Farms LLC.
* Develops and conducts training programs for managers designed to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies.
* Works to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, customers and other outside resources.
* Analysis and management of recruiting metrics and reports.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Possibly 0-4 direct reports

[Minimum Skill Levels and Work Experience]

* Bachelor of Science or Business Administration in Human Resources or closely related area.
* 5 to 7 years relevant experience in Recruiting/Staffing process management.
* Demonstrated proficiency in facilitation of hiring practices and employee selection.
* Strong ability to facilitate management decision-making.
„* Demonstrated ability to understand a wide variety of concepts, practices and functions within the organization.
* Experience working with a wide variety of customers both internally and externally.
* Proven ability to drive change and make decisions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of employment regulations. Proficient computer skills using the Internet, Microsoft applications, HRIS systems etc.
* Experience in developing creative yet effective direct recruiting campaigns while building community based recruiting programs.

[Preferred Skill Levels and Work Experience]

* AIRS Certification
* 7 to 9 years of relevant experience.
* Experience working in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
* 5 years as a corporate or agency recruiter.
* Ability to speak Spanish
