USG seeks an ARCHIECTURAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE. This position is located in Northern California/Bay area.  The job responsibilities include:

Ø      Proactively develop relationships with architects, interior designers, specification writers, owners, construction managers and general contractors to increase preference and demand for USG products and systems.

Ø      Track projects in early stages of design to increase preference for USG products. Maintain a detailed list of projects and share with other USG team members.

Ø      Communicate and collaborate within the Architectural Services organization and other USG departments. Team play is essential.

Ø      Launch and promote target products and programs. Monitor competitive activity and recommend strategies to promote USG’s product offering.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Ø      Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Design or business related field.

Ø      Minimum of 2 year selling experience in A/E/C industry, emphasis in Architectural selling.

Ø      Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Ø      This position requires a high energy level and superior relationship building skills.

Ø      Self starter with peak organizational and problem solving skills.

Ø      Strong communication, presentation and networking skills.
