Forum Studio’s projects vary in use, size, and scope and include buildings both large and small for corporate headquarters, high rise - high density multifamily residential, commercial and industrial businesses, professional offices, and life sciences.
The Architectural Intern is responsible for the development and production of construction documents and design presentation drawings under tight deadlines. A thorough understanding of the design process and the organization of construction documents is required. The candidate should be familiar with and be able to support construction administration phase services, including project closeout. Creativity in problem solving, a high level of personal initiative, and ability to work collaboratively are desired traits. This role partners with the Project Manager and the Project Architect in developing well coordinated projects.
Qualifications:
Professional degree from a NAAB accredited university and LEED Accreditation are preferredPossess working knowledge of AutoCAD software, ADT 2008, and PhotoShop; familiarity with design visualization software such as 3D Studio/Viz, SketchUp, Google Earth Excellent written and verbal communication skillsA work portfolio demonstrating past work experience, design ability, and a passion for architecture and building
