Who we are looking for:

 

We are seeking a talented and motivated professional, with a strong interest and experience in creating housing environments for seniors, to work with multi-discipline teams from design and documentation through construction for assisted living, skilled nursing, and independent living facilities.

 

Specific Duties/Requirements Include:

Applying incentive and diversified knowledge of Architectural principles and practices in broad areas. Uses advanced techniques, theory precepts and practices in the architectural field and related sciences and disciplines. Works independently and directly with the client on projects. A lead position, this level includes technical direction over a group of Architects and/or a technical specialist, responsible for researching, planning, designing, and administering a variety of building projects (i.e. commercial, healthcare, retail/distribution, institutional) for public and/or private clients.

Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of architects, designers and CAD technicians.

Perform specific project building design and development tasks, including programming, design, reports, drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications.

Respond to client questions and comments, review contractor submittals, and provide clarifications during construction.

Plan, schedule, conduct, coordination and, in a supervisory capacity, direct the development of architectural project requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

8-10+ years of experience.  Experience must include managing multiple projects simultaneously  Excellent design and contract documentation skills.  Strong technical skills Experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint. Experience with Revit a plusOutstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.  This includes the ability to lead client and consultant meetings and make skillful presentations at public meeting.Ability to travel for project meetings and conference.Licensure highly desirableLEED accreditation highly desirable Commitment to senior living and sustainable design
