Applications Analyst
Contract to Potential Hire (Contract will last through the end of 2008)
Charlotte, NC
Pay: TBD by relevant experience

Objective:
Support end users in the organization on how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives.  Evaluate current systems, coordinate upgrades or redesigns to improve productivity, minimize costs and improve service. This includes troubleshooting applications and software.  Also responsible for the design, delivery and improvement of in-house software applications, required documentation and interaction with internal and external clients and vendors.

Responsibilities:

Consults with end users and others to identify and clarify program objectives.  Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and installation.  Preparation of documentation of program development, logic, coding and corrections. Writes or oversees the compilation of user manuals and standard work for installation and operating procedures.  25% of time spent

Provides ETL (Business Objects Data Integrator) programming and analysis support for the ERP Decommissioning and Archival Project. 
Provides back-up Business Objects Crystal Reports development programming in support of the ERP Decommissioning and Archival project as required.  75% of time spent

Education/Experience Required:
Bachelors Degree in related field
3 - 5 years of experience working in an Information Technology environment
Applications Development
Application Report development and enhancement
ERP System analysis and support
Business Objects Data Integrator ETL

Skills Required:
Must have excellent written and oral communication
Must be able to work well in a dynamic organizational environment
Utilize complex problem solving techniques and critical thinking, with assistance, in support of assignments
Ability to utilize Code Development and Data Management to successfully complete assignments
