The
Business Application Delivery Manager to support the Commercial Division of BOKF.The Business Application Delivery Manager is responsible for planning and managing all application activities within the Commercial business unit. The lines of business supported are International, Treasury Management, Commercial Lending, Business Banking, TransFund, Wire Transfer, ACH, Item Processing and Payment Processing. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the work of a professional staff that supports applications and systems owned and used by the Commercial business unit; this includes multiple application development, maintenance and enhancement efforts utilizing various computing architectures, (e.g., client/server, intranet, web) or mainframe platforms. Oversees all aspects of systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and enhancement for application systems for the Commercial business unit; assesses customer requirements, evaluates possible solutions and presents recommendations to IT management; contributes to the development of annual business application system plans; ensures that application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices. Ensures department efficiency by predicting, planning, controlling, and implementing changes in resource management, procedures, and schedules through analysis of internal operation and business requirements. Fosters and maintains good relationships with internal business partners to ensure processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels. Researches and resolves complex problems which require knowledge, judgment and handling beyond staff experience and knowledge. Participates as a unit representative in mergers and acquisitions and operational conversions; serves on committees relative to technology, products, and equipment; participates in collaborative study and review of proposals and design of new products.
Qualifications KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: • Ability to translate business needs into business process models & requirements • Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems • Ability to develop strategic and guideline documentation • Ability to develop business process model templates and framework • Ability to estimate financial impact of business alternatives • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments • Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and technical skills • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the needs of the business units and how these needs can be addressed through technology • Extensive analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to analyze processes through logical and creative thinking • Advanced knowledge of project management skills • Advanced knowledge of team building skills • Ability to lead and develop a team of professionals • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to think logically and effectively assimilate meaningful information from large amounts of data ensuring critical deadlines are met • Excellent PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field and 5-7 years of practical or equivalent experience.
