Position: Application Developer/Engineer (HTML, C, C++, JCL- mainframe, PLSQL, oracle, JavaScript, TOAD, UNIX)

Location: Rochester Hills, MI

The ideal candidate will responsible for the following:

 

Application Engineer will work on the design, implementation and testing of software for web-based user interface, database transaction processing and e-commerce back-office systems. Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in Large Scale Application Development Environment (big company) and familiarity with Full Software Development Life Cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain multi-platform (UNIX and Windows) applications and systemsDevelop automated unit test programs/scriptsAdapt and extend existing re-usable components and librariesDevelop high quality software while meeting deadlinesAssists with rollout and post production support

 REQUIRED SKILLS

5-7 years experience working across multiple platforms (UNIX and Windows)BA or equivalent in Computer Science or related fieldWeb Application Experience (HTML, JavaScript)Oracle (PL/SQL, SQL and DBA)CSS, and/or C/C++ (STL, templates, performance tuning)JavaScript (JDK 1.4) and J2EE web application components (JSP, Spring)Sun Unix (shell, scripts and editors)Windows NT (shell, registry, desktop, system admin)Network programming with TCP/IPSystem level software including Socket and multi-threaded programmingDesire to work in a coordinated team effortAbility to communicate ideas effectivelyExperience with version and configuration management
