Job Description: . Work with UNIX, Windows, Network, and Desktop support teams to assist in the relocation of roughly 40 disparate Healthcare applications for one of the most critical, non-trauma healthcare facilities in the Washington DC area. . Coordinate and effectively manage every effort across these applications . Coordinate and effectively lead issue resolution teams to respond to application incidents and escalate issues to management when necessary. . Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and primary support contact for assigned applications. . Ensure Service Level Agreements are met through complete system monitoring, capacity planning, regular system maintenance, and producing regular system status reports. . Coordinate application patches, releases, and configuration changes while adhering to standard quality and regulatory processes. . Responsible for maintaining relationships with application vendors in regards to infrastructure, cross system communication, release levels, and patches. . Build and maintain relationships with the business owners of applications to ensure client expectations are being met as well as identify future business requirements that will alter an application's configuration and/or capacity. Job Experience: . Five plus years IT experience required . Healthcare applications background critical. . Strong technical, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills required . BEA WebLogic administration experience required . UNIX and Linux experience required . Strong understanding of web and network technologies such as HTTP/S, SOAP, .NET, JSP required . Strong understanding of IT core processes (Software Development Lifecycle, Change Control, Issue Resolution) is required . Strong written and oral communication skills a must . Strong documentation skills a must . Apache Web Server and Tomcat administration experience preferred . Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL) experience preferred . Experience with remote diagnostic/monitoring systems is a plus . Experience with Java is a plus . Windows server administration is a plus . Project Management experience a plus
