Acquity Group is looking for a highly effective Web Application Architect to join our team. This person will participate in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design, and implementation of a client’s solutions. This key member of our team develops and communicates the detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for a solution to the client and project team. This is a 50% +/- travel position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead large-scale business application design efforts Independently interact at the director-level in client organizations Demonstrate expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies Have a firm understanding of design methods and architectures Assist the Project Manager in establishing team goals, objectives, and budget Provide support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits

 

Qualifications

5+ yrs in application architecture / enterprise architecture, systems integration and development, package implementation, relational databases, with knowledge of multiple technologies and interactive design Experience integrating search technology like FAST, Endeca, Google, Verity, and Autonomy within solutionsExpertise in multiple technology platforms/languages: AJAX, JSP, J2EE / JavaEE, EJB, Websphere, Weblogic, HTML, DHTML, XML, SOAP, Javascript, MVC patterns, JavaScript, JavaSolid understanding of UML Design Patterns and overall Architecture MethodologiesAbility to define, create, and complete a technical task without guidance Experience in Full lifecycle software development processes and methods Extremely effective with the executive level and client-facing Ability to articulate a vision of the total solution

 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's (Master's a plus) degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field

 

Travel

50% more or less depending on project; candidate should be comfortable with travel and overtime as client commitment requires.
