Catholic Health East (CHE) is the nation’s 4the largest Catholic Health system with approximately 50,000 colleagues working in hospitals, long-term care facilities, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, retirement communities and other health services, located within 11 eastern states from Maine to Florida.  Our growing organization has a Application Analyst position available in our System office in Newtown Square, PA. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Application Analyst works under the general supervision of the Director, Financial Services, and collaboratively with IT Shared Services and the Lawson implementation team to ensure that the information delivery needs of the CHE system office and its Regional Health Corporations (RHC’s) are accommodated under the standards resulting from the operating model design, standardization and implementation effort.   The position is responsible for overall information delivery and reporting solutions from both a business and technical perspective for the Financial Services department and the CHE System Office. It is also responsible for the specifications, design, development, and maintaining of all Lawson information delivery solutions for the CHE System Office. The Application Analyst also assists with software testing scope and approach, test data and scripts, test execution, and documentation of results and retesting as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Education An Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Accounting, or relevant work experience.

Experience At least 2 years of software development & analysis related to information delivery (reporting) in an ERP environment. 2 to 4 years of accounting experience. 2 to 4 years of computer experience with extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Lawson accounting system. Knowledge of Lawson ERP applications a plus. 

Skills Strong general ledger and accounting theory skills. Strong understanding of SQL Language. Application Development and Analysis focused on information access/delivery in a financial and/or Human Resources environment. Experience with a multi-company or multi-facility system. Crystal Reports XI in an Oracle environment. Web-based application development experience a plus.
