Our client is looking for a Cage Wash/Animal Care Technician.

On a day to day basis, this person will:

1. Clean rodent cages.
2. Clean equipment.
3. Stage and store rodent cage parts.
4. Retrieve bags of cage bedding, chemicals for washers.
5. Assemble cages and water bottles.
6. Provide general support of Husbandry staff in daily operations and may include some weekend and holiday time.

Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and stand/walk up to 6-7 hours per day and reach below knee level to overhead from standing position on a frequent to continuous basis. Scrubs, lab coat, hair bonnet, face mask, safety glasses, booties and gloves are provided.
