Imagine yourself...Working within the surgical services departments, providing care in over 31 surgical suites
Collaborating with multiple disciplines to provide specialized patient care
Having access to all-digital diagnostics and technologically advanced surgical equipment
Establishing and growing your skills in a team-focused environment with motivated staff
Ensuring excellent patient care through successful working relationships with Anesthesiologists and surgeons
Providing assistance to the Anesthesiologist throughout surgical procedure
Assisting with the insertion of central venous catheters, and Swan-Ganz catheters as well as placing monitors on patients
Performing point-of-care coagulation and ABG testing and inserting arterial catheters for continuous blood pressure monitoring, operate cell salvage equipment, and intra-aortic balloon pump
Ensuring the set up of intra-operative TEE
Transferring patients to and from the operating room

General Qualifications
Option #1:High school diploma or equivalent
Satisfactory completion of an accredited program in anesthesia technology (A.A.S. degree)
Certification as an Anesthesia Technician (CerAT) through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) strongly preferred
Option #2:Minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in anesthesia-related monitoring or a similarly skilled position in other special procedure areas, such as cardiac catheterization labs or electrophysiology labs
Certification as an Anesthesia Technician (CerAT) through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) strongly preferred
Previous experience and/or certification in the operation of autologous blood recovery systems and intra-aortic balloon pumps
Candidate Requirements (overall):EKG entry experience
BLS is
