Unimerica Workplace Benefits is a business unit within Specialized Care Services which is responsible for selling multiple SCS products to external clients. Products include: term life, disability, stop-loss, and dental, vision, critical illness, voluntary AD&D and travel accident.
Primary Responsibilities:
This sales position will be responsible for building productive relationships and partnering with Brokers to consult on new business opportunities.Present a unique bundled product approach providing user friendly and flexible solutions to prospective clients.Sell our products and services ( 100-5,000 lives range) through broker distribution channels as well as UHG distribution channelsLeverage cross selling opportunities.Contribute to the achievement of the corporate financial goals through selling new business, up selling to existing business, implementation of new plans and managing existing accounts to ensure retention and growth targets are achieved.Assist in responding to Request for Proposals.   Qualifications:
BA/BS level education, preferably emphasis in business.Formal sales and marketing training desired. 1-3 years of sales experience. Demonstrate the ability to understand and develop strategies for multiple markets.Excellent communication skills, ability to present, write and converse effectively with multiple audiences of varying levels of sophistication.Successful sales achievement, ability to represent the organization professionally and drive desired sales growth in a profitable, repeatable manner.Proficiency with PC for word processing, spreadsheet, and database functions. Negotiation and relationship building skills. Maintain security and confidentiality of proprietary information. Ability to understand and articulate our various products and services.
