Our client is a growing manufacturer of disposable medical products in the greater Milwaukee area.  Currently, they have a need for an Analytical Chemist to perform Quality Control testing of in-process and finished goods.   This is a direct-hire opportunity and is an immediate need.    This is a first shift position.  Responsibilities and Qualifications are listed below:

Responsibilities:

Peform analytical testing of in-process and finished goods using HPLC, GC, and wet-bench chemical analysisConduct method development and validation of assays pertaining to newly developed or existing productsMaintain calibration and upkeep of analytical instrumentsKeep detailed records in accordance with cGMPAdhere to company quality policies and proceduresSupport operations and development teams by providing technical expertise and analysis of materials

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with three to five years of industrial experiencePrior experience working with OTC products, cosmetic, and topicals highly preferredProficiencey using HPLC and GC instrumentation Familiarity with cGMP and EPA guidelines and regulations
