Southern California’s premier producer of outstanding pharmaceutical, nutritional and personal care products currently has an opening for an Analytical Chemist.

RESPONSIBILITES:

- Assay active ingredients using official methods and develop and validate non-official methods
- Schedule assays for the instruments based on priority
- Assist in the management of the Analytical Laboratory by coordinating activities of the HPLC/GC testing
- Communicate with the QC Manager
- Verify and sign analyst and standard logbooks for the HPLC/GC laboratory
- Perform HPLC/GC assays
- Assist in the review of data
- Compliance with GLP
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in work area including proper disposal of waste chemicals and products
- Assist with the physical inventory counts as requested

MUST HAVE:
- B.S. Chemistry or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience with HPLC/GC Required Skills: hplc, gc, glp, wet chemistry, GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS People. Service. Performance.
