GENCO has an opening for an Operations Analyst Manager for our new facility to be located in Ogden, Utah. The facility will be a 550,000 sq. ft. temperature controlled distribution center. The building is fully racked utilizing high reach and slip sheet equipment. This position reports to the facility General Manager.

The position is responsible for:
Completing warehouse layout and designs, conducting supply chain analysis, and inventory assessments to determine operational improvements for logistics operations.Using analysis to develop and recommend improvements for operations including cost reduction, service improvement, etc.Conducting warehouse process evaluations, and optimal inventory strategies for the operation.Developing processes and related tools to support the operation.Develop training, support, and reporting structures for Red Prairie Labor Management Systems (LMS). Overseeing process improvement implementations, monitoring and facilitating all continuous improvement within the facility, resource assignment, and implementation scheduling, and monitoring to ensure all deliverables are met.Providing support in data management and reporting.

Required Skills


The sucessful candidate will have:Degree in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Industrial Engineering or Mathematics. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.Ability to lead and manage a team to develop and implement engineered standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Prior experience of 6 Sigma, Lean, or TQM initiatives.Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, teammates and customers.Ability to lead and manage a team to develop and implement improvement initiatives.Ability to work with or design simulation tools to improve warehouse operations.Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Labor Management Systems.Experience in various programming (VBA, Visual Studio, etc).Knowledge of Visio, CAD and other design tools.
