Prime is looking for an energetic candidate for our entry level Analyst, Business Development position, supporting the growth of the Competitive Intelligence and Business Development functions at Prime. This position is responsible for the collection and analysis of competitor-specific and industry-wide information and data, utilized to develop financial models and analysis in support of Prime’s business objectives, pricing strategies, M&A activity, and related business development activity. This position will be responsible for maintaining competitor financial models, and building valuation models as needed. Other responsibilities will evolve with Prime’s business direction and will include merger and acquisition support, pricing, other corporate initiatives, etc. Accountabilities/Duties 1. Gather industry information from research sources including the Internet, trade publications, periodicals, analyst presentations, SEC filings, etc 2. Create and maintain a database of competitive and benchmark data that supports the organizational needs. 3. Perform in-depth company and industry research and financial analysis on competitor companies and strategies. 4. Build financial models to support financial statement analysis, DCF analysis, public trading comparables, valuation assessments, etc. 5. Development and maintenance of internal dashboarding and benchmarking data and tools 6. Corporate projects as needed Job Requirements 1. Bachelor’s Degree required; Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Accounting preferred. 0-2 years work experience. 2. Background in healthcare benefits or pharmacy benefits preferred 3. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail a must 4. Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills 5. Proficient in Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word 6. Energetic team player but have ability to work independently 7. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects 8.
