Alcohol and Drug Counselor Garrett County Health Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time, contractual, Alcohol & Drug Counselor to work primarily in and our Out Patient Clinic. This position will involve the provision of treatment, drug testing and therapeutic intervention ( individual and group counseling). Experience providing counseling services in a health care or treatment setting preferred. AA degree preferred in a health or human services counseling field required, Bachelors or Masters degree preferred. This position will be contractual without benefits. $13.33 to $20.74 per hour, based upon experience and qualifications. Must be eligible for certification from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
