The Alaris Territory Sales Representative responsibilities are:
Candidates must be able to travel overnight 25% of the time.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Product Sales Consultant (PSC) will be responsible for selling Alaris fluid delivery disposables (e.g., SmartSite Needle-Free and Latex-Free systems), vital signs/patient monitoring disposables and thermometry equipment. He/she will manage all pre-sale and implementation activity and work together with various members of our capital equipment and technology sales team that work within the same territory. The PSC will call primarily on existing Alaris customers to maintain and grow business and to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, implements and leads the short and long term plans for expanding businessServes as a consultant to hospitals using or considering using our products and provides follow up and support as needed or requestedSupports the evaluation process to ensure user comfort and continued commitment to Alaris productsProvides customers with assessments of clinical and hospital needs by conducting cost analyses and compiling and presenting dataMaintains sales level at or above the business plan and maintains the Sales Force Automation system on an on-going basis Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Bachelor of Arts (BA), or Bachelor of Science (BS) required, preferably in NursingA minimum of 3-4 years corporate clinical consulting or clinical specialist experience and/or hospital medical sales experienceCandidate with a nursing background and business to business sales experience will be consideredExperience selling to, and/or experience working in, a wide variety of hospital departmentsA background in critical care nursing background with emphasis in infusion therapy is highly desirableStrong communication, influencing, business planning and strategic planning skillsAbility to manage a sales territory, meet objectives, and follow a disciplined sales processAbility to build and manage business relationships and to work in a team selling environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)A valid driver‘s licenseCardinal Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including 401K and tuition reimbursement.
