 Airport Project Manager
Hampton Roads, Richmond, VA or Ebensburg, PA

 

We have an immediate need for an experienced Airport Project Manager at our corporate headquarters in Ebensburg, PA or our various VA locations. This person will work with clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.

 

Overview of Responsibilities:

Follow project delivery procedures and standards in compliance with client and division-specific guidelines Assure the quality of project deliverables Lead the design effort utilizing the appropriate FAA Advisory Circulars Aid in the development of a project milestone schedule for all work tasks Aid in the development of land development plans meeting the requirements of the local municipality, as necessary Prepare project plans and specifications Review project construction cost estimates and make suggestions associated with construction budgets Perform construction administration duties Coordinate project resources to meet client needs Complete work that meets industry standard of care Help recruit new staff members Aid in developing project scopes of work and price proposals Attend appropriate design review meetings Lead the bidding and preconstruction phase efforts Be available to provide resident project representation services, as necessary Review and approve construction shop drawings Prepare project closeout documents after construction is completed

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, professional license (PE), and five years of experience with airport engineering projects or with general civil engineering projects utilizing land development principals.  Knowledge of airport design using the FAA standards and the FAA AIP grant process, and understanding State Aviation grant processes requirements is a must. A working knowledge of AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop and Microsoft Office software is also required.
