There is an immediate opening for a civil Airport Engineer/Project Manager position in Kansas City, MO.  We are looking for a highly motivated, team oriented, and positive person with project management experience.  The primary responsibilities of the position will include all aspects of managing civil aviation projects to include coordination with clients on their engineering needs.  Duties will include marketing, supervision of designers and technicians, leading design efforts including developing design reports, detailed engineering plans and specifications, QA/OC and administering FAA programs for all aspects of aviation projects for airfield and landside facility improvements.  Must have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of FAA design criteria and requirements.  Must have previous experience with general aviation and air carrier airports.  Requirements:  PE required plus a minimum of 8+ years experience with airport design projects.  Prior consulting/design experience preferred.  Understanding of FAA guidelines and requirements.
