AIRPORT DEPUTY DIRECTOR-ADMINISTRATION & PROPERTIES
City of Portland, Maine - Portland International JetportThe Portland International Jetport, a small hub airport, seeks an experienced individual to serve as part of the Senior Management Team as Assistant Airport Manager. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day administration, property management, security, noise, and the Jetport's Communications Center. Current operating budget is about $14 million and there are two major capital projects that will total approximately $100 million which will start shortly - a new parking garage and a terminal addition.
The Portland International Jetport has seven carriers, of which two are low cost. Enplanements are up 20% for 2007.
Requirements: Degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration or equivalent and prior airport senior management experience; Accredited Airport Executive or ability to obtain within two years; prior supervisory experience; thorough knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations pertaining to the daily operation of a civil airport; excellent communication, customer service and computer skills; must possess a valid Maine Class C driver's license; must have and maintain a good driving record; must successfully complete an access investigation in accordance with Federal Security Requirements 49 CFR Part 1542.
Salary range: $59,709 - $80,086.
