Koch Nitrogen Company and its affiliates own and invest in nitrogen fertilizer production and storage capacity in North America, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. The company's fertilizer interests manufacture, market and distribute more than 6 million metric tons of nitrogen products annually. Koch Nitrogen Company owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska which produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. These plants provide fertilizer to customers in Oklahoma, Kansas and the Midwest. Combined, Koch Nitrogen's fertilizer interests can produce about 6 million metric tons of nitrogen fertilizer annually.
Koch Nitrogen Company is looking for an aggressive
Agricultural Sales Manager to join their existing Marketing Group. The successful candidate will determine the best marketing strategies, analyze supply & demand, identify market trends and their impact, and determine cost availability of alternative products/origins. This will be accomplished by:
• Developing and aggressively growing agricultural sales in either North Dakota, Nebraska or our Southeast Region
• Lead the overall agriculture marketing and origination strategies and efforts
• Maintaining and grow sales activity to customers that generate the most attractive netbacks
• Develop in-depth knowledge of market region and key drivers of supply and demand
• Build new business as well as maintaining existing opportunities
• Previous Agricultural Sales/Marketing experience
• Candidate must be highly motivated and a self-starter
• Strong analytical skills needed for competitive analysis
• Willingness and ability to work within a team environment to achieve a common goal
• Must have proven ability to build strong relationships
• Must be willing to travel
• Degree in Economics, Finance or Agricultural Economics
