Aerospace and Defense Account Manager # 608007

 

LORD Corporation, a privately held corporation with over $630 million in sales and a leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative adhesives, coating and motion management products, is looking for an Aerospace and Defense Account Manager in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

 

We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to sell to and direct the servicing effort for the assigned territory and account responsibility.  She/he will be responsible for current sales, growth and new business development for an assigned territory and for assigned key accounts.  The incumbent will set account and territory strategies, consistent with overall company goals, and will be responsible for the implementation of those strategies to achieve sales and margin plans. The incumbent must be innovative and creative, and a change agent.  Overnight travel is anticipated to be 40-50%.

 

 

MANDATORY

REQUIREMENTS:

·         BA in Business or related field with 5-8 years experience in Aerospace/Defense. 

·         Good interpersonal skills and good interpersonal skills. 

·         A verifiable record of achieving orders. 

·         Experience in authoring complex proposals. 

·         Experienced negotiator with OEMS and/or US Government.

·         Understanding of relevant/adjacent technologies.

·         Problem solving skills

·         Experience as capture team leader acquiring new and follow-on business

·         Proficient in MS Office, with emphasis in PowerPoint, Excel & Word

·         Experience in highly complex agreements desirable

·         Candidates currently located in Huntsville, preferred.
