Kenworth of Alabama and Mississippi is a Heavy and Medium Duty Truck and Trailer Dealership, providing Sales, Parts and Service.  The Company was established in 1978 and currently has locations in Birmingham, Dothan, Montgomery, Mobile, AL and Jackson, MS.  We service customers throughout the entire state of Alabama, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle.  We represent Kenworth, Volvo, Hino, UD and Isuzu Trucks, East and Clement Trailers.  Our Company is regarded locally and nationally as a time tested leader in the industry with a reputation for being progressive, innovative and getting the job done right.  We are currently seeking the following position for the Mobile, Alabama location:

 

Administrative Assistant

 

This position is responsible for the following:

 

·         Handling Executive Phone Calls

·         Handling Confidential Matters

·         Coordination of Meetings and Conference Calls

·         Managing Branch Manager’s Calendar, Contacts and Emails

·         Travel Arrangements

·         Processing Correspondence

·         Filing

·         General Administrative Assistance for all Departments

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

·         Good energy level, positive attitude and pleasant demeanor

·         Ability to handle a fast-paced environment

·         Possess a high level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity

·         “Hands On” – extremely detail oriented and organized

·         Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and with co-workers

·         Ability to Communicate with other Executives as well as other Employees

·         Scheduling of Business and Personal Appointments

·         Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities; flexible

·         Have strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

·         Proficient with Internet Research

·         Minimum 5 to 10 Years of Administrative  Assistant Experience

·         Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

·         Proficient typing skills

·         Non-Smoker
