A rapidly growing, national human resources management consulting firm, primarily serving the healthcare industry, is seeking an immediate hire for an Administrative Assistant position in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. Founded in 1992, we now have a staff of 57 and annual revenues of $25 million.

About The Position

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant in a fast paced professional services firm and proven written and verbal communication skills.

Candidate must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and be able to effectively meet demanding deadlines, along with the ability to learn our business and become an integral part of our daily operations.

Administrative Assistant will interact with all levels of management and staff to perform support functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.

Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited to:

Answering calls and handling requests from various staff and clients, as needed. Organizing/maintaining filing system and performing other clerical duties, as needed. Writing/editing and producing documents to include general correspondence, presentations, proposals, etc. Maintenance of databases. Providing all clients with timely and efficient follow-up. Assuring effective circulation of information (process incoming/outgoing mail, phone calls and email follow-up). Coordinating and arranging business meetings, preparing agendas, reserving and preparing meeting facilities, as needed. Managing travel arrangements and scheduling. Maintenance and ordering of office supplies. Daily monitoring, processing and logging of all survey orders. Maintenance and archiving of survey library.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to details. Effective communicator (possessing strong written and verbal interpersonal skills). Self-starter (proactive, taking initiative), have a strong sense of urgency to accomplish goals. Highly self-confident - projecting a pleasant personality, and consistently and enthusiastically communicating a positive attitude. Handle multiple demanding deadlines, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and follow-up, as necessary. Possess a high degree of professionalism and high character. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must have considerable knowledge of general office procedures, practices and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of five years experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant in a professional services firm.

 

Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite products.
