As an administrative assistant you assist the management team in making sure that every single guest enjoys the show. How so? You provide theatre management with administrative support for accounting, concessions, human resources, scheduling, facility management and other areas. Easier said than done, right? Let’s break it down into your soon-to-be responsibilities:
Make certain guest service is friendly, helpful and fast
Compile various theatre reports with accurate data entry
Schedule and organize theatre activities and meetings
Ensure all manager offices are clean, well-organized and stocked with supplies
Reconcile expenditures, process weekly invoices and complete weekly payroll
Initiate and maintain new-hire employment files
Maintain office standardized filing system and regular personal attendance records
Coordinate newspaper directory ad placement
Order office supplies and Film Crew uniforms
Assist with other functions as instructed by the General Manager
Uphold AMC’s high standards and deliver entertaining company-wide programs

• Persuasive written and oral communication skills
• Proficient guest service, administrative, time management and follow-up skills
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a timely fashion
• Superior typing skills along with excellent attention to detail
• Courteous and professional phone etiquette
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
