Cheese's restaurants in 48 states and five countries has an immediate opening at our Support Center based in Irving, Texas for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant in our Construction Department. Responsibilities of this position include: Compile budget packages for new stores and expansions. Insure all vendors and internal departments are notified of deadlines. Prepare budgets for Capital Expenditure approval. Monitor Construction Report to prioritize projects and maintain key milestone dates. Coordinate with all associated vendors to insure timely submittal of proposals. Consolidate all vendor proposals. Complete Budget Summary along with all associated back-up for review. Apply for utilities for new stores and expansions and insure accounts are set up by deadlines. Review proposals and prepare Purchase Orders, coordinate to insure all product arrives on schedule. Perform material take-off?s for all owner provided materials. Review Construction schedules in order to produce and distribute Transportation schedules to vendors and internal staff. Track inventory at SPT for items required for new stores and expansions and insure par levels are kept. Prepare all Construction Reports for review and distribution. Maintain required performance logs for architects, utilities, budgets, inventory, and shipments Assist with construction process from budgets through one-year warranty walk through. Perform office duties as directed by supervisor. Set up and maintain store and project files. Qualifications include: Minimum of 3 ? 5 years Administrative experience with Construction background preferred. Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Access. High School Diploma. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, good analytical skills, detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Must have a professional demeanor and be a team player.
