Robert Reid Wedding Architects and Planners, AIA, Inc. is a mid-size, 30-person firm with offices in Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Our 35-year old firm provides a high level of customer service oriented Architectural and Engineering services to Fortune 500 clients. We specialize in prototype buildings and mixed use projects for the banking, financial, retail, housing and automotive industries in the Southeast. We also renovate and oversee adaptive re-use of structures for a variety of client users.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist with strong organizational and clerical skills to join our Fort Lauderdale team. The preferred candidate will have 3+ years of related work experience, knowledge and skills. Experience in the construction industry as a gatekeeper and administrative assistant to professionals a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS:

As the gatekeeper and administrative assistant, the ideal candidate will perform general office duties in our small team environment, including but not limited to:

· Answering telephones / routing calls, & welcoming clients/guests (main receptionist)

· Receiving and sending shipments, mail and faxes

· Scheduling meetings, conferences and teleconferences

· Schedule and agenda management

· Administrative Writing Skills, Reporting Skills

· Typing meeting minutes

· Coordinating travel arrangements

· Updating client database

· Construction project administration assistance

· Monitor office equipment and maintenance agreements

· Maintaining office supply inventory

· Strong verbal and written communication skills are required

· Team player attitude with strong follow-up skills
