Acxiom Corporation is current seeking qualified candidates for an Administrative Assistant position we have available in our Central Arkansas/River Market location.
Administrative Assistants provide first-line support to Acxiom Associates and Leadership. They plan and implement administrative projects, coordinate activities, and assist in maximizing resources. Candidate should have extensive knowledge of the Microsoft office suite-- Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. Additionally, the successful candidate should have the proven skills in the following areas: financial analysis, project management, communications, time management/organization, ability to multi-task. Candidate will also be responsible for helping organize and assist the department with special projects. These projects require an exceptional amount of organization and attention to detail.
Required skills:
-3+ years experience in business environment
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment supporting multiple leaders and functions within a team environment
-Microsoft Office Suite (expertise in Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
-Experience with making travel arrangements and coordination of agendas
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Pro-active attitude
-Confidence and ability to work independently
-Confidentiality
-Ability to work overtime when needed
-Analytical thinking and interest in repeatable processes to perform weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring activities.
-Ability to coordinate action plans and timelines for audit improvement projects, when applicable.
-Aptitude for testing audit controls and summarizing procedures and findings for IT Management and the Internal Audit Committee.
-Ideal individual must be detail oriented and have strong multi-tasking and decision making skills
