ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT for Columbus-based real estate firm. We have an entry level, full-time opportunity with our professional, fast-paced firm. This position will assist our Development Department by generating copies, typing correspondence, and running monthly reports. General office skills are necessary, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Quicken programs.
SUMMARY: Provides general office and clerical support to Development Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides general clerical assistance to the Development Department including typing correspondence, organizing conference calls, and making copies.
· Works as a back-up to the Legal Administrative Assistant
· Manages calendar and makes travel arrangements.
· Run monthly reports, maintain database, and update spreadsheets.
· Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Degree, G.E.D., or equivalent.
· 1 -3 years administrative assistant or general office experience in a fast paced environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Knowledge of: general office and bookkeeping procedures, Microsoft Office Suite; Quicken, and general knowledge of the World Wide Web search functionality.
· Skill in: internal customer service, typing.
· Ability to: work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with little supervision; prioritize and work under time constraints to meet deadlines; multi-task; communicate effectively and develop good working relationships.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
· Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, carry light objects, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands or arms, talk, and hear.
