Summary The administrative assistant ensures that guests are greeted and announced between the hours of 8:30am and throughout the day until 6:00pm. In addition, the administrative assistant will provide support on projects from different departments. There will be relief coverage for a one-hour lunch. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Greet visitors in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner • Maintain records of visitors, announce arrival and ensure they are appropriately directed to their meeting location • Work on administrative projects including: copying, filing, typing memos/correspondence, scheduling, assisting with mailings, meeting planning, travel arrangements, expense reports, sorting faxes/mail, etc. • Ensure that the reception area is neat and orderly • Ensure all employees use ID when entering the office • Daily purchase order tracking • Daily tracking inventory and ordering shipments • Other duties as assigned.
