Job Description

This position requires providing administrative sales support to the Vice President in our new Jackson, MS office opening on or about June 15, 2008. SFIC has a demanding, fast-paced and fun environment. The successful candidate has experience in office operations and using the MS Office Suite to create documents,spreadsheets and presentations and manage projects/calendars.  The candidate must able to execute on projects thoroughly, and be self-motivated and discreet.  An interest in sales is a plus.

 
Responsibilities include:

Sales support and administration

Administrative support including filing, faxing, drafting correspondence and other documents Travel coordination Telephone coverage, screening and follow-up    Assist in coding and processing invoices Track all field reports and expenses Order and maintain inventory of Point of Sale (POS) items Track brand budgets Follow-up on all correspondence with field and NY office Coordinate time sensitive assignments

Special Projects

Maintain sales presentation books Run monthly depletions reports and update letter as directed Perform special projects and create presentations in PowerPoint Handle confidential correspondence Assist with some aspects of event planning

Requirements:

Ability to use advanced functions in  Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to perform duties of a highly confidential nature Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) Outstanding attention to detail and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor

 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

College degree preferred Previous administrative experience in fast paced environment a plus OR Customer service and/or office services experience a plus Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a business environment; Experience drafting well written business correspondence and creating analyses using databases and/or Excel
