Accountable to prepare and conduct training programs, hold seminars and discussion groups. Distribute educational literature and obtain continuing education credits. Test and evaluate progress of clinical team. Responsible for improving medical management programs by actively participating in clinical quality improvement initiatives designated by Health Services. Identify, develop and conduct classroom training programs for new and existing Clinical Services teammates. Assist the Manager with the development and maintenance of education materials for providers, teammates and patients including newsletters, continuously improve processes and content using feedback and monitoring mechanisms. Monitor and maintain consistency and uniformity of Clinical Services manuals, materials and clinical practice. Participate in the development or revision of policy, procedures or guidelines.

Ability to provide information and assistance to internal and external customers. Able to demonstrate knowledge of both the managed care environment and the renal healthcare delivery systems. Possess the knowledge to analyze outcomes and assist in developing renal medical management protocols and guidelines. Teaching skills include the ability to identify individual skill development needs, translate ideas and thoughts into a cohesive, coherent training curriculum. Perform root-cause analysis; facilitate problem resolution; listen objectively and manage multiple projects and goals simultaneously. Accuracy and timelines of work are critical. Demonstrate leadership skills through visionary approaches, effective coaching, planning and development, involvement, and productivity. JOB REQUIREMENTS5-7 years clinical experience in nephrology nursing preferred. Current Las Vegas RN license.Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Case Management preferred.Willing to travel to multiple work settings, length of time traveling may exceed one week. Proficiency required in a variety of software packages, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Clinical Services programs Medical Information System Technology (MIST). High degree of professionalism, requiring the ability to balance professional and personal concerns; adjust to changing environments and modify activities as situations dictate; demonstrate openness and be receptive to negative feedback. Ability to foster and build team work to achieve a common goal. Sedentary work requiring good manual dexterity with repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers. Must have vision sufficiently correctable to work with a computer monitor. Must have excellent hearing and listening skills to receive detailed information through oral communication techniques. Physical stamina to work longer or extra hours as needed for department coverage.
