ACTUARIAL POSITION

 

Founded in 1980, Swerdlin & Company is one of the largest independently owned actuarial and benefits consulting firms in Atlanta, Georgia.  We are seeking a qualified addition to our growing actuarial practice. 

 

The ideal candidate will, at a minimum, possess the following:

 

4+ years of experience performing actuarial valuations of plans of defined benefit pension plans. Experience with post retirement welfare benefit plans is a plus.

 

Hands on experience with an actuarial valuation system(s)

 

Benefit calculation and government form preparation experience

 

Experience consulting with clients on a variety of issues with respect to their pension and/or postretirement welfare benefit plans

 

Strong organizational skills and a solid background in math, statistics and/or computer science

 

Experience with Excel, Word and other Microsoft products
