A Health & Benefits (H&B) Actuarial Consultant works with a team of consultants to deliver customized solutions that enhance our clients' ability to effectively manage health care benefit programs. To fulfill this role, the H&B Actuary will:

Provide specialized consulting and project management support for client projects Serve as a recognized technical resource to H&B consulting staff Perform final review of health benefits plan design or valuation, flex design, and pricing and financial modeling Advise clients on impact of new rules, assess liabilities and provide strategies on health benefit plans. BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, economics, finance or business Five plus years' health care actuarial experience, preferably in a consulting environment ASA/FSA designation or significant progress towards certifications Ability to identify, design, recommend, and implement efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' complex health care benefits challenges Superior analytical, strategic planning and communication skills Extensive knowledge of the health and group benefits profession and an awareness of trends influencing the future of health and group benefits for large employers.
