MOBIS Alabama, LLC, a Tier One supplier to Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, has an immediate opening in their Accounting Department for its facility in Montgomery, Alabama.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with two (2) to three (3) years experience.  Excellent English communication skills both oral and written.  Advance knowledge in computer software for Windows, MS Excel, MS Word and Peachtree.  Candidates must also be familiar with General Accounting duties.

Accounting Specialist

Ø       Ensures all invoices are approved by responsible department.

Ø       Determine and verify all expense accounts charged to correct GL code based on US GAAP.

Ø       Maintain accrual/deferral master and also maintain and keep supporting data.

Ø       Assist in maintaining and updating vendor master record by verifying vendor information and payment terms.

Ø       Involve in budget control activity by controlling non PO expenses.

Ø       Release Purchase Request for expense by checking budget vs. actual and verifying GL account selection.

Ø       Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

Ø       Control personal reimbursement activity in light of all regulations, rules, and policies of the company.

Ø       Various types of analysis report on department expense as required.

Ø       Involve and assisting external and internal auditing process with Manager.

Ø       Involve in clearing open accounting documents for closing period.

Ø       Vendor maintenance, Create and Change, in SAP with W-9 information.

Ø       Follow up with material purchasing statement on a weekly basis.

Ø       Handle confirmation letters related to year-end audit

Ø       Create claim and asset-related documents

Ø       Create accounting documents pertaining to accounting department

Ø       Coordinate the research and preparation of technical accounting solutions for new and existing complex business issues.

Ø       Identify and implements productivity and process improvements

Ø       Develop and implement system and procedural control enhancements.

Ø       Participate in the development and maintenance of General Accounting Policy and Procedure manuals

Ø       Assist department with month end closing and year end audit process
