Toshiba Business Solutions Texas / News Mexico - distributes and services full-line office equipment and software solution systems including high speed digital copiers/printers, full-color copiers/printers, duplicators, facsimiles, laptops, document imaging systems, and projectors. Toshiba Business Solutions – TX/NM in San Antonio, Texas has an immediate opening for a hands on Accounting Manager.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting; 5 years experience in a similar accounting management position; Must have strong accounting skills and grasp of GAAP. Must be experienced in performing and supervising the following accounting activities: General Ledger, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables (credit/collections), Fixed Assets, and End of Month close procedures; possess excellent skills using Microsoft Office; Experience in Sales/Use Tax and property reporting/compliance functions; Must possess above average communications skills with proven supervisory skills. Oracle experience is a plus.

Primary Duties: Supervise and coordinate accounting staff – including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, GL, and Cash Management functions. Coordinate and perform Month End Close processes. Determine accrual requirements; provide monthly GL / Balance Sheet reconciliation analysis. Prepare detailed account analysis and reports as needed to include expense account analysis; balance sheet reserve calculations; preparation and processing of GL Journal entries; coordinate the preparation and submission of financial and operational reporting to corporate levels; perform Bank statement reconciliations; Sales/Use and property tax return preparation; and other accounting duties as assigned. Reports to CFO.
