Publicly traded company and is a leading supplier of visual communications and brand imaging solutions in the United States with offices in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles has an opening for an Accounting Manager.

The responsibilities of the position are:

Preparing month end general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts including:

Preparing and reconciling sales commission accruals and payments

Reconciling month-end physical inventories to accounting records and calculating work in process inventory balances

Preparing month-end receivable analysis including monitoring sales cutoff procedures and calculating reserve for doubtful accounts

Preparing fixed asset and intangible asset roll forwards and calculating depreciation and amortization

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external financial statements

Preparing reporting and analysis for senior management as needed

Implement Sarbanes-Oxley compliance policies and procedures

Preparing detailed schedules and analytic reviews of balance sheet and income statements for external auditors during quarterly review and year-end audit

Qualifications include the following:

BS degree /Accounting (additional certifications/degrees preferred-CPA, MBA), with solid GAAP knowledge

Expertise with general Ledger software, including report writing, preferred

Excel expertise
