Responsible for the maintenance and administration of the general accounting systems, including upkeep of the general ledger, inter-company reconciliations and billing, consolidation of financial records, and submission of accurate and timely data for financial reporting purposes. This position is also responsible for treasury activities. Is responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Reports to the Corporate Controller. Requires a minimum of five to seven years of accounting experience with a minimum of two years of leadership responsibility.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting; CPA desirable. Typically requires a minimum of seven years of total accounting experience with one to three years of senior level accounting experience.
High technical knowledge of all accounting functional areas. Easily adapts to change. Knowledgeable of business applications and maintenance thereof. Skilled in math applications. Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills.
PCs, Intermediate to advanced skill with Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel, Word & PowerPoint. and integrated business accounting software, i.e. PeopleSoft, SAP, J. D. Edwards a plus
