As our Accounting Manager, you will:

• Manage the day to day operations of the A/P and A/R staff
• Prepare monthly journal entries and accruals
• Assist with month-end and year-end close process, including consolidation of UK subsidiary
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly analysis of income statement vs. budget with supporting explanations for variances
• Monitor compliance with GAAP and SOX, as well as developing adequate internal control procedures and documentation
• Analyze/review monthly financials and G/L for unusual fluctuations and improper postings
• Prepare schedules for year-end and interim audits; assist with managing audits
• Manage special accounting projects as needed


Your qualifications include:

• Accounting degree with a minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team and be a team player
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications a must (Excel, Word)
• CPA or public company experience preferred
• Experience with PeopleSoft a plus
