Position
Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor will support the Controller in general accounting, accounts payable, as well as banking and financial modeling responsibilities.
Core responsibilities:
Performs first level review of journal entries in connection with the monthly General Ledger close Prepares monthly financial packages for distribution to partners Ensures reconciliations and monthly financial analysis is completed timely and accurately Completes and updates FRX reports and Great Plains system and acts as System Administrator Supports budget and forecast activities Monitors (or audits) production project accounting Supports audit activity Monitors daily cash activity including cash balance reporting, entering wire transfers and ensuring funds are transferred timely Serves as Administrator for the online banking system Special projects as assigned

Experience and requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline with a minor in Accounting Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel required; proficiency in Power Point and Word desirable Great Plains experience desirable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills Detail oriented; can handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Possesses ability to work collaboratively with all levels
