            Manager of Accounting Operations (WDC-JG)

Outstanding opportunity for an Accounting Manager looking to take their leadership experience and skills to a new level with an international leader. Our is a major services firm in search of a strong Accounting Manager to oversee all GL operations of a collaborative accounting staff and manage the control of all journal entries.

Job Description:

·        Oversee and review all activities of GL accounting staff and control all journal entries

·        Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, locate areas for improvement and update policies as needed

·        Manage the monthly closing process and the quarterly/year-end auditing process

·        Oversee and manage all variance analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis, in addition to account reconciliations

·        Review all financial reports and assess accuracy

Job Requirements:

·        7 or more years proficient accounting experience, some management experience required

·        Bachelor’s Degree Required, CPA or CPA candidacy is a major plus

·        Outstanding analytical skill and the ability to evaluate the financial impact of accounting procedures and policies

·        Strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately interpret and organize complex financial information

·        Confident leadership approach and solid interpersonal skills
