Job Description:We are currently on the hunt for a career minded Accounting Manager for a growing mid-size, full-service CPA firm located in Norristown, PA. For this role, we are ideally seeking talented CPAs with seven or more years of public accounting experience and an uncanny ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
We are looking for individuals to join our team who:
• Have excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Candidates possessing a Bachelor's Degree and CPA license.
Will be responsible for all accounting/financial functions including:
• Plan, supervise and complete engagements.
• Supervise accountants and provide feedback to them and evaluate their progress.
• Review engagement work product for completeness and accuracy including workpapers, tax returns and financial statements.
• Develop recommendations for clients to enhance business operations or wealth accumulation.
• Become experts in their assigned areas (audit or tax).
• Maintain and strengthen existing client and referral relationships.
• Develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm.
• Assist in firm administrative functions as assigned by the owners.
• Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
