Requirements:

5+ years’ professional accounting experience; 2-3 years experience as accounting manager; with emphasis in governmental accounting, financial planning & analysis, budgeting & projections; Strong experience in Excel; Staff supervision.                    

 

Job Description:

This position requires an organized, self-motivated team player. This position is responsible for cost control and accounting of governmental and commercial contracts. The position involves cost data accumulation and analysis for various projects. Reporting to the President, this position manages Financial Accounting, Government Accounting, and Responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting, A/R and A/P, and some special projects to keep our accounting, financial reporting and infrastructure ahead of our growth.

This position, with the assistance of Program personnel, will perform accounting duties as may be directed and will interface and coordinate with the Program Managers. The Accounting Manager/Controller will prepare bid analyses and maintain historical estimating information as well as provide advice and assistance to the Program Manager on any cost estimating questions relating to both contract specific and business administration matters.
